*CHERUB: Maximum Security - Only four months to wait!
|
The global media were stunned this month when a wormhole opened in space time. The only thing to pass through the hole in the instant before it closed was a biography of CHERUB author Robert Muchamore, written in 2074, shortly before his death. Thanks to this sensational event, we can now reveal the entire history of the CHERUB books: 2006 Fifth book in series, CHERUB: Divine Madness enters the bestseller lists at number one and remains there for four months. 2008 CHERUB film rights are snapped up by a major studio for an eight figure sum. 2009 With CHERUB books occupying seven of the top ten spaces on the New York Times bestseller list, Robert Muchamore arrives in America and is greeted by 300,000 screaming CHERUB fans. He later grants an audience to President Hilary Clinton. 2010 Following a troubled shoot, during which Robert Muchamore is forced to take over the director's chair, the movie of CHERUB: The Recruit opens to record breaking box office, outstanding reviews and goes on to sweep the 2011 Oscars. 2018 The twelfth book in the CHERUB series CHERUB: I've Got a Lovely Bunch Of Coconuts, receives disappointing reviews. However, the book still sells more than 100 million copies. 2025 Muchamore marries a blonde supermodel and fathers the first of seventeen children. 2035 Muchamore retires as a writer, following the publication of the final CHERUB volume. The series reaches a shock conclusion when 44-year-old CHERUB mission controller James Adams foils a plot for global domination by evil arch nemesis and ex-wife Kerry Chang. 2074 After 35 years of peaceful
retirement, Robert Muchamore dies aged 102 while piloting his supersonic
jet over the Caribbean.
