STORY: Authors' rights campaigners are outraged over cruel treatment dished out to Robert Muchamore after the late delivery of the CHERUB Christmas story! According to spokespersons for the WWF (World Writers Fund) and the RSPCA (Royal Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Authors) a bruised and shaken Mr Muchamore was attacked by bully boy employees of Hodder Children's Books. After delivering the story more than two months late, Muchamore was locked in a dark room before Hodder employees hung him upside down by his big toe. Muchamore then had his ears propped open with matchsticks and was forced to suffer sounds of a four-hour editorial meeting taking place in an adjoining room. A drunk bloke standing on the platform at a London Underground station said, "It's about time someone gave Muchamore a kicking. He's been asking for it for a long long time."
