RIOTS ERUPT IN DOCKYARD AS FIRST COPIES OF CHERUB: CLASS A ARRIVE IN UK
 

Mayhem erupted when the supertanker Hodder One docked at Dover shipyard on August 18th. The 80,000 tonne ship was believed to contain the first 25 million copies of the eagerly awaited book CHERUB: Class A by Robert Muchamore.

As 5000 police officers mounted on camels and armed with ray guns and howitzers battled waves of eager CHERUB fans, valiant staff from Hodder Children's Books formed a 300 strong human chain to move the books into a fleet of sixty Chinook helicopters.

It is believed the books were flown to a secret underground location in Derbyshire, where they are now being held under 24-hour armed guard.

Author Robert Muchamore urged fans to remain calm and reminded them that CHERUB: Class A will be in plentiful supply when it is published on October 14th*.
